QAHS has a unique relationship with Griffith University. We are co-located on the Gold Coast Campus which has led to the development of a range of relationships both formal and informal.

This includes a series of Early Admissions Schemes including:

QAHS has also worked with Griffith University to enable students to gain credit for approved International Baccalaureate course options

Credit Option 1
Completion of specific IB courses at QAHS gives credit for up to five of the eight first year common courses in the Griffith Health Foundation Year course within the following Griffith Health degree programs:

  • Bachelor of Exercise Science
  • Bachelor of Exercise Science (Pre-Physiotherapy)/ Doctor of Physiotherapy
  • Bachelor of Medical Science (MBBS provisional entry for school leavers)
  • Bachelor of Health Science
  • Bachelor of Biomedical Science
  • Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science
  • Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy
  • Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology
  • Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science

Credit Option 2

Griffith Health Studies Certificate

a) Gives credit for first year and guaranteed admission to the following Griffith University Health degrees:

  • Bachelor of Exercise Science

  • Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science

b) Gives credit for first year of the following Griffith University Health degrees
