Alliance Française Poetry Competition Results

Results have recently been announced for the 2018 Alliance Française Poetry Competition.

This competition, which has been conducted throughout Australia for many, many years, requires students to memorise and recite a French poem in front of two examiners.

Congratulations go to Aidan Luchs and Annabel Jellett who were both place getters in the Brisbane-Gold Coast division of this prestigious competition. Aidan was awarded 2nd Place in the Year 10 section and Annabel 3rd Place in the Year 11 section. Particularly impressive is the fact that both Aidan and Annabel are Ab initio students and were competing against students with many more years of French study behind them.

Félicitations Aidan et Annabel!
