Well done to Ethan Bryant and Stephanie Hall who competed in the Broadwater Cross Country Championships on Thursday 25 May. Stephanie placed first in her race while Ethan place twelfth. Stephanie and Ethan will go on to compete in the Regional Cross Country Championships which will be held on Tuesday 6 June. Please read below for Stephanie’s reflection. The whole of QAHS wishes Stephanie and Ethan the best of luck in the upcoming Regional Championships.

Stephanie“On 25 May, I competed at the Broadwater Cross Country Championships held at Runaway Bay. This marked the start of the Cross Country season with the top runners making it through to the Regional Championships. I competed in the Open female category racing 4km. I finished first with a large distance separating me from the rest of the field. I have now been selected to compete at the Regional Championships to be held on 6 June. I am very grateful of my achievement, knowing I have done myself and my school proud. I am dedicated and persevere in my chosen sport, gaining great satisfaction when I experience the results of my hard work and feel it is a great way to maintain balance with my academics. I look forward to competing again in the coming weeks.”
