Our Year 10 students celebrated National Science Week with a light-hearted and energetic afternoon of Science-based challenges in the QAHS Green Heart. This year's competition focused on the National Science Week theme, Deep Blue: Innovation for the Future of our Oceans. The students competed in "oceanic" challenges designed to encourage problem solving, team work and foster healthy house competition.
The day is a great opportunity for our young scientists to simply have fun as imagination, collaboration and team spirit are the order of the day.
A big thank you to our Science Operations Officers, Trudy Newlove and Montana Bennetts who designed, created and coordinated the event.
