AI for goodIf you could, how would you change the world? How would you use technology to make the world better?

A number of teams from QAHS entered the AI for Good Challenge in which they were given the opportunity to dream about how Artificial Intelligence could be used for good in the world. One team, Smart-Pals, were selected to present at the State competition in July and won! Juliette Asai-Hughes,Caitlyn Camilleri and Amy Dehghan will now present their Smart-Pal watch at the National competition in Sydney next week. Their AI solution uses facial recognition technology to support social connection for people with Autism. Our QAHS will present their unique idea to a panel of judges from Microsoft and be given an opportunity to network with schools from around Australia to share the power of AI for good.
