QAHS students have received four High Distinctions (approximately top 5%) in the 2021 Australian Science Olympiad exams. Year 11 student, Jason Sinclair, received High Distinctions in Chemistry and Physics and Year 11 student, Thien Tran received a High Distinction in Biology. Both Jason and Thien are in the running for the 2022 Australian Science Olympiad Summer School. Year 10 student Jeremiah Gan received a High Distinction in the Junior Science Olympiad exam.
A further 11 students received Distinction certificates (approximately top 10-15%). Year 11 students Ellen Im, James Fang, and Zhuominna received a Distinction in Chemistry while Year 10 students Alice Cai, Ariel Ding, Ananya Garg, Hong Kai Zhang, Reita Matey, Samuel Brown, Seongju Kang and Soonju Kwon received a Distinction in the Junior Science Olympiad exam.
Another 22 students received Credit certificates (approximately top 25-30%). Our school community congratulates these students. Well Done!
