One of the annual events for our Year 7 Introductory Year in Brilliant Futures, is the Its Rocket Science workshop, which offers students a rich opportunity to learn about aviation, fair-testing principals and physics. They do this via an informative presentation and Q&A, by founder and proprietor of the Its Rocket Science program, Cran Middlecoat. This is followed by students getting the exciting opportunity to experiment with a number of variables, in designing and launching their own water rockets, some of which travel almost the length of our school carpark.

This year's Rocket Science event presented perfect weather, on the Saturday of Week 8, for both groups in our 2 x 90 minute sessions. As always students were left with questions for Cran about his career in aviation, and rocket technology.

Thank you to Ms Day for her help with supervision on the day, we look forward to next year!
