The annual Brilliant Futures Introductory Year visit to Griffith University for the sensational Trebuchet Engineering Workshop, happened recently on the first weekend of Term 1. The workshop involved 49 Year 7 students, who listened attentively for the first hour, before outdoing the expectations of workshop providers and launching soft projectiles great distances, and with accuracy. With teamwork and attention to detail, students had to assemble a model trebuchet, and to try to achieve consistency in distance and aim, while learning about physics and mathematical problem solving.

Thank you again to Mr Sid Hooker and his team at the Griffith Engineering Department.
