CREST which stands for Creativity in Research, Engineering, Science and Technology is a non-competitive, competency-based awards program by CSIRO, designed as an incentive to recognise student achievement in inquiry learning.
Gold CREST Awards recognise students who complete open investigations which are both original and have real-world applications, and take a minimum of 100 hours. Student projects are sent to a CREST Officer for final approval. The following students have been approved for Gold CREST Award certificates and medals for their Science Extended Essay investigations. They will be recognised at our Academy Awards in October.

Silver CREST Awards recognise students who complete open investigations which are either original or have a real-world application, and take a minimum of 30 hours.
