QAHS Year 11 students participated in the Gold Coast Careers Festival on Friday 7 May, 2021, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach. Students appreciated the opportunity to explore their future career and study options and speak directly to University personnel, explore prerequisites and entry requirements for courses and learn about the world of work.
It is the premiere event on the Gold Coast Careers Calendar and it featured exhibits and displays from the Universities, located on the Gold Coast, TAFE, the Australian Defence Force and other training and education providers. I would like to congratulate the Year 11 students from QAHS for interacting with the exhibitors, asking important questions, trying out various careers and volunteering for opportunities as they arose at the festival.
Below is a photograph of QAHS Student, our very own, Harry Kim, who volunteered to perform on stage with the Royal Australian Navy Band at the Gold Coast Careers Festival.

Great confidence shown and great work Harry!
