At the end of Term 3, QAHS students, for the first time, completed the ICAS English exam online. ICAS Assessments recognise and reward academic excellence. Students demonstrate a deeper, integrated and thorough level of learning based on the curricula for the relevant year. The ICAS English assessment provides QAHS students the opportunity to participate in an internationally recognised exam and practice their comprehension and critical thinking skills.
This year, Angie Zhou in Year 11, achieved in the top 1% of the 980 000 participants taking the ICAS exam in Australia. As a result, Angie has been awarded the prestigious ICAS Medal, that will be presented at a ceremony in Brisbane later in the year. Congratulations Angie!
