This year has already been full of sporting successes which is incredible given that we are still living in a COVID world.
Last week was a week of firsts. We had two netball teams compete in the Alliance Cup against a number of Queensland schools. The competition was fierce but the girls gave each game their all.
We also had a basketball team have their first game in the Gold Coast Basketball Competition playing against Marymount College. This is the first time inyears that QA has been a part of the competition and we walked away with a victory for game one.
Last term we had our first staff vs students match. We played netball and although the competition was fierce, the staff were victorious, with a much needed win given our last two defeats at the end of 2020.
Well done staff and students on an incredible start to the year with sport.
