Year 11 Music student, Rakto Yoshioka, recently performed at the Conservatorium Theatre, Griffith University, in the AMEB's Annual Diploma Concert. He was awarded his AMusA (Piano) with Distinction. Receiving similar awards were Alumni QAHS students Aydin Neighbour, Ayami Watanabe, and Maito Yoshioka. Rakto described the experience for us:

"On Friday 28 February, I had the opportunity of performing the piano at the the annual Diploma Presentation Ceremony, held at the Queensland Conservatorium. At the Diploma Presentation Ceremony, I received the "Assosiate in Music, Australia (AMusA)" and performed Chopin's Waltz in E minor in the presence of Diploma recipients, parents and teachers. This was an unforgettable experience for me, and I am very thankful for the opportunity that was provided to me."
