Grace MoffatGrace Moffat- State Swimming
On the weekend of March 29-30,  the Queensland State Swimming Association Championships in were held in Brisbane. Despite a shoulder injury, Grace managed to make 2 finals (in the 50m and 100m butterfly) and won a Silver Medal in the 16yr old freestyle relay.

Grace has qualified for two events in the Australian Age Swimming Championships which are being held from 14-21 April in Sydney. Grace has qualified for both the 100m and 200m butterfly. We wish her all the best with a smooth recovery.

Grace also competed in the Commonwealth Games Trials. She just missed out on a place by 0.4 seconds off the 50m butterfly and 0.2 seconds off the 100m butterfly! An exceptional effort whilst still maintaining her school work and swimming training. A true example of the IB Learner attribute, balance, Grace is a great role model for her peers.
