Interschool Sport concludes for 2015

Tuesday 26 May marked the conclusion of Interschool Sport for 2015. Over the course of the first semester, students have engaged in their choice of sport from a selection including table tennis, volleyball, basketball, netball, soccer and futsal.

Sport co-ordinator, Miss Blackmur said, “Interschool sport provides a great opportunity for students to get fit and get involved in the community through a sporting activity. This is important as it provides a sense of balance, and gives students the chance to work together and engage in an activity that is not necessarily academic, which gives them time to focus on themselves and their mental wellbeing.”

Congratulations to the Under 15 Girls’ Tennis Team B, consisting of Sally Lee, Lily Payr, Lois Livingstone and  Angela Duong and the Open Boys’ Tennis Team A, consisting of Wynnr DeCastro, Thomas Jackson, Callum Moffatt and John Yoon,  who made it through to the crossover finals. Both teams played Palm Beach Currumbin(PBC)  in the Cross over finals today, with PBC advancing to the Gold Coast Finals.

Congratulations also to our South Coast Cross Country Representatives
