Opportunities Week 2019

Opportunities week has begun and the energy is building. The array of opportunities available for students during this final week adds value to our students’ experience as they progress through their IB journey. ‘O’ Week is a chance for students to ‘seize the day’, develop twenty-first century skills and draw upon their personal strengths to achieve set goals within their cohort programs.

QAHS students are participating in a range of activities as part of Opportunities Week: Year 12s are involved in English Works in Translation (WITs), IB Core focus sessions, Allumni Allies: On the road to mock exams, and QTAC information amongst an opportunity to work on Extended Essays and other assessments; Year 11s are engaged in the Australian Business Week program; and the Year 10s completed competencies towards Certificate II and III in Laboratory Skills.

The range of opportunities being extended to students once again reflects the strength and commitment of a community of learners.
