QAHS celebrates 10 Years winning the Griffith Gold Coast Science Competition!
The 31st Annual Gold Coast Science Competition aims to raise the profile of science in our community and encourages students to demonstrate their scientific abilities, by entering a project into one of five categories. The competition is the largest of its type in Queensland and has been established for 30 years.
2017 has been the biggest year yet, with approximately 500 entries judged on campus at Queensland Academies Health Science Campus (QAHS). The work our students complete as part of the IB Programme was very well received by the judges and congratulations go to the following students who were recognised by the judges:
In 2017 QAHS was awarded the prize for “Best Overall Senior School” for the 10th year in a row. Congratulations to the students who received official places and to all our students, for recognition of the very high calibre of work they produce.
