QAHS congratulates its sporting people

QAHS students continue to display the Learner Profile attributes of risk-taker, principled and balanced with a growing number of sports people achieving individual success.

Congratulations to the following students who have made South Coast teams:

South Coast Volleyball:  Tea Pearce, Angel Wallace- Miles and Eray Koch (Shadow player)
South Coast Basketball:  Raymond Tram

Rowing: Congratulations to Kaito Lovell who competed in the recent QLD and NSW State Rowing Championships.

Kaito rows for Griffith University Surfers Paradise Rowing Club, when in Doubles and Quads and in Single sculls he represents QAHS.

At the Queensland State Championship (held in January 2016),  he competed in the Men’s under 17, winning Gold in the Quad sculls and Bronze in the Double scull.

At the NSW State Championship (held on the 13-14 February 2016), he competed in the Men’s under 17, winning Silver in the Quad sculls and Bronze in the double scull. Kaito is currently preparing for the national titles later this month. We wish him all the best.
