QAHS Graduate Q&A
It is always a pleasure to celebrate the many student achievements at our Campus Assemblies, and it is always exciting when we host a QAHS graduate for a Q and A session. On Tuesday 26 July, we welcomed back Foundation student and 2009 Graduate Katherine Gehrke, to share with us her career journey and her reflections on her time at QAHS. Since leaving QAHS Katherine has completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science and Neurology and a Masters of Speech Pathology. She’s now enjoying her work as a Speech Pathologist, working with children with developmental delays here on the Gold Coast. She is indeed living the impression on the world that she forecast for herself in 2009. Hear Katherine’s full story and advice for QAHS students in the interview conducted by Year 12 student Tien Cortez-Campbell.
