QAHS Students’ letters arrive in Papua New Guinea
QAHS students were very excited to hear news and receive pictures (via Facebook!) from the students of Baroida Plantation Community School in the remote highlands of Papua New Guinea, to whom they recently wrote letters of introduction. QAHS students initiated this writing exchange with the children of Baroida as a special global outreach co-curricular activity. Such an activity will benefit both Baroida and QAHS in the spirit of ‘international understanding’ which is a key principle upon which the International Baccalaureate programme is founded.
