QAHS – top ranked Gold Coast school again

Each February, local newspaper publications publish school rankings according to OP performance. Queensland Academies do not feature in these publications as our students gain an IB score and an ATAR, rather than an OP score. With the OP system coming to an end this year, all Queensland students will be on the ATAR system from 2020. Being a world-class school exclusively delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, QAHS students are awarded an ATAR ranking and an IB score, affording entry to over 3500 universities world-wide.

Queensland Academies are featured in ranking publications which include IB score equivalency,  such as bettereducation.com. Since publishing began on this website in 2012, QAHS has consistently featured in the top 5 performing schools in Queensland, and has always been the top performing Gold Coast school. For 2018, QAHS is ranked second in Queensland.

We are proud of the dedicated expert team of teaching staff that make the consistency in top level performance possible and we pay tribute to the exceptional achievements of our Class of 2018.
