STEM Girl Power Camp

Following an extensive application process, Year 10 student, Sarah Linning, has been selected to join 60 high achieving Year 10 students from around Queensland for this year’s STEM Girl Power Camp.

Held across five days in March 2017 in Brisbane, Sarah will participate in a range of events including World Science Festival activities, a SPARQ-ed lab experience, as well as the opportunity to network with scientists at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute.

Throughout the remainder of the year, Sarah will act as an ambassador to encourage others to participate in STEM.

Such STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) initiatives continue to highlight the increasing emphasis on the essential knowledge and skills for students in the 21st century.

Congratulations Sarah.
