UQ Young Scholars Program

Each year The University of Queensland host the Young Scholars Program, which culminates in a five day residential camp at the St Lucia Campus in October. The Young Scholars Program is:

“Designed to nurture and develop our future leaders, the Young Scholars Program presents students with an exciting opportunity for academic extension and enrichment and is centred around igniting young change-makers’ passions for leadership, academic achievement and community development in today’s global society.”

The students will hear from leading thinkers and gain the opportunity to collaborate with “like minded” students, while gaining a taste of “university life”. Congratulations to the following QAHS students who have been accepted into the 2017-2018 Young Scholars program (pictured above L-R):

  • Alan Xue
  • Alex Young
  • Amir Habib
  • Rohaan Haikerwal
  • Samuel McMath

We wish the students well and look forward to hearing of their experiences at the Residential Camp.
