Well done Stephanie!

Congratulations to Year 11 student Stephanie Hall who competed in the Queensland 3000m Championships held at the University of Queensland on Thursday 9 February.  Stephanie competed in the Under 18s category in a field which was comprised of both national and international representative distance runners. Stephanie achieved an outstanding result by placing 3rd with a time that was 45 seconds under the national qualifying time.

Stephanie has secured her position to compete in the Australian Championships which will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park in March.

Throughout Stephanie’s QA journey she has continued to demonstrate balance by continually achieving impressive results in her chosen sport while maintaining excellence in her academic pursuits. The whole of QAHS commends Stephanie on her exceptional result, and wishes her the best for the upcoming Australian Championships.
