On Saturday 15 November, the Brilliant Futures Year 8 cohort of 2025 celebrated their graduation from our enrichment program. The event included our traditional research poster exhibition, where students—working individually or in pairs—presented academic posters on a STEM topic of their choice. Families and fellow BF students warmly received the exhibition, noting the strong personal connections many students demonstrated through their work.
Following the showcase, students were awarded their graduation certificates by Principal Vanessa Rebgetz and Brilliant Futures Coordinator Patrick Emery. The ceremony also welcomed Dr. Carrie Lovitt, the incoming 2026 Brilliant Futures Coordinator, who was introduced to and warmly received by this year’s cohort.
We look forward to seeing the creativity, curiosity, and passion that the 2026 Year 7 and 8 cohorts will bring to the Brilliant Futures program.
