Year 10 student Cooper Hudson has made a splash with an impressive haul of medals at his recent Pool Rescue competition, earning himself a place at the prestigious 2025 Australian National Pool Rescue Championships, to be held this August in Adelaide.

Cooper's exceptional performance saw him claim six gold medals and one silver, demonstrating both versatility and strength across a range of demanding lifesaving events in the pool. His results included:
- 200m Obstacle Race – Silver
- 100m Manikin Tow – Gold
- Rescue Medley – Gold
- 200m Super Lifesaver – Gold
- 50m Manikin Carry – Gold
- 100m Manikin Carry – Gold
- Line Throw Relay – Gold
These results place Cooper among the top youth competitors in the country and reflect his dedication to surf lifesaving both in the pool and out in the ocean.
