While each student deserves to be commended for fulfilling their team role to effectuate Debating Finals qualification, special mention must be made of our sole Open A Debating team - their continued commitment to Debating alongside the numerous expectations they have had to fulfil as Year 12 students, deserves to be acknowledged. Additionally, four of the Open A team members chose to mentor our Intermediate B teams this year to support the growth and development of QAHS' novice debaters. I extend my gratitude to Abigail, Louisa, Eden and Harrison for their leadership and advocacy for Debating at QAHS.
We wish each QAHS Debating team that qualified for the knock-out Finals series, all the very best. We know you will represent our school and yourselves admirably.
