The Learning and Wellbeing Framework for all Queensland State Schools plays a vital role in supporting student wellbeing within the school context and highlights that schools can influence both learning and wellbeing. The QAHS Wellbeing Mission Statement below is underpinned by Queensland and Australian government policies and frameworks for staff, students and community as evidenced in our QAHS Wellbeing framework (PDF, 661KB) .
A Positive Psychology evidence based approach, grounds all QA Health and wellbeing initiatives supporting all students and staff to thrive, and be the best versions of themselves. Our QA Health and Wellbeing ‘Be well to do well’: Three Year Plan (PDF, 246KB) aligns the five core elements of wellbeing, PERMA+(Seligman, 2011), to all QA community wellbeing initiatives (staff, students and our community).
