MSL30122 Certificate III in Laboratory Skills
In partnership with Registered Training Office (ABC Consulting), Queensland Academies Health Sciences Campus provide Year 10 students with the opportunity to gain the Certificate II in Sample and Measurement (MSL20122) and Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (MSL30122). The course targets the environmental science laboratory skills through an intensive six day program which includes workshop rotations involving laboratory sessions, online simulations, half day practical workshop and online assessment. The course is held at the end of Semester 1.
The Certificate III in Laboratory Skills is nested in the Diploma of Laboratory Technology program, which students can pursue independently after completing the Laboratory Skills Certificate.
Certificate III in Laboratory skills qualification prepares students to perform practical skills in their IB Internal Assessment, whilst supporting their theoretical studies. The certificate also provides a formal qualification with supporting skills to form a foundation for future laboratory work.
