On behalf of the entire QAHS community, we congratulate our volleyball teams on their efforts during the Volleyball Queensland Senior Schools Cup competition. Thank you for representing QAHS at the largest VQ Schools Cup event in its history, and one of the largest school sporting competitions in Australia.
We admire your dedication to training, commitment to continual improvement, unconditional support for your teammates and respect for the opposition. Please join me in thanking QAHS Alumnus and volleyball LEGEND, Joaquin Segui, for his dedication to the growth and development of the QAHS Volleyball program. Many thanks to the volleyball student leadership team, in Hayden, Rebecca and Leila as well as volunteer coach, Paihia, during the competition.
Last but not least, we thank Dr Carrie Lovitt for her ongoing support with CAS training sessions, Mr Wade Chalker and Mrs Jade Psychoulas for their coordination and logistics and all staff that offered their support over the three-days of competition.
