A huge congratulations to Shohta Matsumoto, who was selected to participate in the prestigious MOST (Musically Outstanding STudents) program over the holidays. This highly competitive, state-wide program invites just 80 students from Queensland state schools to take part in an intensive 10-day musical development program. Students work with some of the country's leading conductors and educators in ensemble rehearsals and workshops, culminating in a spectacular performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
With only five viola positions available across the entire state, Shohta's successful audition and selection is an incredible achievement and a testament to his dedication and talent.
We are so proud of Shohta for representing our school with such excellence on this prestigious stage what an outstanding accomplishment!
