At this week's whole school assembly, a number of QAHS students were acknowledged for their exceptional achievements across a range of enrichment programs. These opportunities are offered as opt-in experiences that allow students to extend their learning beyond the classroom, exploring new challenges and areas of interest.
Australian Science Olympiads (ASI)
Congratulations to our Senior Division awardees for their outstanding results:
- High Distinction: Aadi Rai (Physics), Sergio Teng (Chemistry)
- Distinction: Orion Rafalovitch (Chemistry), Yanyan Zhang (Physics), Annabelle Dan Marica (Physics)


Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) – Australian Mathematics Competition
Students were also celebrated for their analytical skill and perseverance in this national challenge:
- High Distinction: Wai Qi Cheong (Year 11)
- Prize Winner: Joseph Zhu (Year 10)
- Distinction: Woo Joon Ki (Year 10), Sophie Morgan (Year 10), Sergio Teng (Year 11), Yanyan Zhang, Sophie Hirabe, Ryan Yang, Aadi Rai and Jae Song (Year 12)





RACI – International Chemistry Quiz
Recognition was also extended to Orion Rafalovitch (Final Division 18–19 yrs) and Bhavya Zala (Senior Division 16–17 yrs) for their success in this international competition.

These enrichment achievements reflect the diverse interests and commitment of QAHS students in pursuing excellence and challenge. Many other QAHS students also participated in these enrichment opportunities, and we congratulate all students involved for their enthusiasm and dedication.
