Congratulations to our Year 10 Business Management students Beata Bemova, Benjamin Bodo, Ariana Veselinovski and Mandy Wei on winning the Future Anything Semi-Finals Challenge and securing their place in the Future Anything Grand Final, to be held in Brisbane Monday 9 November.
The team will now have the exciting opportunity to pitch their innovative idea, Status Sustain, live and in person at the Grand Final, where they could win funding and support to bring their idea to life.
Status Sustain is a socially and environmentally sustainable initiative that offers supermarkets a reusable bag service through a subscription-based model, helping to reduce single-use plastic waste.
Selected from more than 700 applications for this year's competition, our students have already achieved an outstanding result. Their success is a testament to their creativity, entrepreneurial thinking and commitment to sustainability.
We wish the team the very best of luck at the Grand Final and look forward to seeing their fantastic idea progress towards making a real-world impact. Regardless of the final outcome, reaching this stage is an incredible achievement as there was something special about their idea.
