During the Christmas holiday period, QAHS students gave their time to support the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation through gift wrapping and raffle ticket sales at major shopping centres across the Gold Coast.
Their efforts helped raise important funds to enhance patient experiences and support essential services within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. Many of our students volunteered during their school holidays, stepping in to fill key roster gaps during one of the Foundation's busiest times of the year.

This ongoing collaboration between QAHS and the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation continues to provide meaningful opportunities for students to contribute to the local health community. Their involvement also forms part of their CAS journey within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, where service learning is a valued and distinctive feature.
Stay tuned for further opportunities to volunteer at Gold Coast University Hospital on Giving Day. Last year, QAHS students were part of the wider team that helped raise $200,000 in just 24 hours.
We are grateful and proud of our students for their willingness to provide volunteer support in the community!
