A team of nine Year 11 and Year 12 students proudly represented QAHS at the Vicky Wilson Netball Cup held at Pimpama Sports Hub during Week 6. Mykenna, Lana, Jessica, Helena, Tiffany, Mehak, Anya, Sophia, and Ashley demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout a challenging day of competition.
Despite difficult weather conditions, including several games being interrupted by heavy rain, the team remained focused and determined. Having only come together at the beginning of this term, the girls competed strongly against highly experienced opposition, including Netball Excellence teams. Their efforts resulted in several impressive wins, while two closely contested matches were decided by just a single goal.
A special mention goes to Year 10 student Allana, who generously volunteered her time to umpire all seven QAHS matches throughout the day. Her willingness to step up and support the team reflected exceptional commitment, leadership, and school pride.

Congratulations to all students involved for the outstanding way they represented QAHS both on and off the court.
Go the 45ettes!
