On Thursday 24 April, our school community came together for the annual Cross Country Carnival, with students embracing the challenge in wet and muddy conditions.
Students from Years 10, 11 and 12 competed in 3km competitive races, while the wider school participated enthusiastically in a 3km fun run and walk. Despite the difficult conditions underfoot, the determination and positive spirit displayed by all participants made the event a fantastic success.
In the competitive events, Matilda Duhig claimed first place in the female division, followed by Ava Prince in second and Poppy Jones in third. In the male division, Liam Hewitt finished first, with Kenta Matsumoto taking second place and Jay Reddy securing third.

There was also strong engagement in the House Art Challenge, which added colour and creativity to the day. Ventus House took out first place, followed by Ignis House in second and Aqua House in third.
Congratulations to Aqua House, who were crowned overall winners of the 2026 Cross Country Carnival.

A big thank you to staff, students and supporters who contributed to the success of the day. The resilience and enthusiasm shown by everyone, despite the challenging weather, truly captured the spirit of our school community.
