On Wednesday 10 June, a group of 27 Year 10 students represented QAHS at the National Science and Engineering Challenge, hosted by Elanora State High School.

Working in teams of three and four, students participated in a range of science, engineering, and problem-solving challenges that tested their creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

The QAHS team competed against students from Coombabah State High School, Keebra Park State High School, Aquinas College, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Miami State High School, Somerset College, and Nerang State High School.

Our students performed exceptionally well, achieving 4th place overall. They also secured 1st place in both the Confounding Communications and Ecohabitech challenges, demonstrating outstanding innovation, collaboration, and scientific thinking.
