Queensland Academy for Health Sciences proudly congratulates Year 11 students Ryan Huang, Hrishi Modi, Johanna Lee and Jelena Uzelac on being selected as finalists in the 2025 QUT BlueShift Business Case Competition.
Competing under the team name Rowboat Rowvolution, the students were one of 20 finalist teams from across Australia invited to the national final, held at QUT's Gardens Point campus on Saturday 10th May. Their journey began with a four-slide strategic proposal submitted in the first round, which earned them a place in the final against top-performing business students nationwide.
This year's challenge, set by QUT Sport, invited students to craft innovative strategies to promote virtual and inclusive rowing programs that encourage people of all ages to embrace active, healthy lifestyles. The QAHS team responded with a well-reasoned, forward-thinking solution that demonstrated strong business acumen, teamwork, and presentation skills.
The BlueShift experience provided valuable exposure to university-level business thinking, real-world problem-solving, and public speaking — as well as the opportunity to engage with QUT academics, industry mentors, and peers from across the country.
