In Term 3, the Year 10 Business Management classes participated in the Future Anything ACTIVATE Social Entrepreneurship program. With a unique blend of creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning, this program offered an exciting opportunity to explore the world of business and entrepreneurship in a way that went beyond the usual classroom experience.
We started by identifying which social problems we were passionate about finding solutions to. Collaboration was at the heart of our group project. Each member of the team brought something different to the table, and together, we tackled the challenges that came our way. From mapping out our product's unique selling points to devising a marketing and finance strategy that highlighted our mission, we worked closely at every step. This collaboration wasn't just about completing tasks; it was about learning from each other, growing as a team, and supporting one another as we turned our ideas into reality.
The mentorship we received was also a crucial part of our journey. We are very grateful to our business mentor, Mr Mick Hase, who provided us with insights that helped shape our project, offering guidance on everything from branding to business strategy. His real-world experience added depth to our understanding and helped us to adapt and improve based on real-world testing.
As we near the final stage of the program, where we'll pitch our project, we are filled with pride for what our teams have accomplished. The Future Anything ACTIVATE program has been a chance to develop not only business skills but also a deeper understanding of the power of teamwork and innovation. This experience has set the stage for our future studies in the IB program and beyond, equipping us with the confidence and knowledge to take on new challenges.
