This week a group of Year 12 Business Management students attended the Better Business Conference, hosted by Griffith Business School. The key task for the day was based on a practical task investigating financial crime, requiring students to look through fabricated shell company websites to help identify clues for naming the Mastermind of the financial crime. The day provided students with access to industry experts, new courses at Griffith University and important tips for how students can better protect themselves from scams, particularly those targeted towards our young people.
The program also features an Awards night in October, with some amazing prizes on offer from The Commonwealth Bank. Did you know that Griffith University has specialised Academy of Excellence in Financial Crime Investigation and Compliance? Find out more via the LINK HERE.
