Saturday 27 May produced perfect weather for our Brilliant Futures Introductory Year students to participate in the It's Rocket Science workshop, run by Cran Middlecoat of It's Rocket Science. The workshop delivers an informative lecture on the history of space exploration, and the physics and engineering of rockets, which then links to the students' designing and testing their own water propelled rockets, onsite at QAHS.

Students had many questions for Cran at the end of each session, who provided many fantastic insights into the fields of aviation on rocket engineering. Thanks to Mrs Chetter for assisting with supervision on the day, and Mrs Parks for her work organisation of the event.
