Our Year 11 Diploma Programme students are making fantastic progress as they embark on their Extended Essay journey. As they prepare to enjoy the summer break, students are encouraged to enjoy some well-earned family time, before turning their attention to their Extended Essay draft.
Before embarking on the holidays, students are meeting with their supervisors to ensure that their EE plans are shaping up for a productive time of research and writing.
To ensure their success, students will complete the following before the holidays:
📚 Choose a captivating topic: They will delve into a subject close to their hearts, formulating a research question that piques their interest.
🔎 Conduct thorough research: Students will explore a wide range of resources, from books and articles to interviews, to gather valuable insights.
📝 Create an essay outline: They will carefully structure their thoughts, planning the flow and logic of their essays.
✏️ Write, revise, and polish: Throughout the summer, students will draft and redraft their essays, refining their work to perfection.
🤝 Seek guidance: They will stay closely connected with their supervisors and make use of our extensive support network for any assistance they may need.
We have no doubt that our students will rise to the occasion, showcasing their resilience, critical thinking, and commitment to academic excellence. We wish them a productive and fulfilling summer, as they take significant steps toward achieving their IB goals.
